![]() ![]() They also have Mixbox in there which is kind of cool, it's like FX within FX, like it houses multiple in one. Sampletank, Orchestra, Modo Drum and Bass, Sampletron, etc. I personally like Waves "everything" over IK "everything", but the Total Max includes soooo much. So IMHO it's bundle or nothing when it comes to IK. They show you what you don't have and try to hit you up for $50 for each thing. Owning individual IK things is an MTX nightmare. If there are a few things you need, might as well get the Total Max bundle. Really, their IK Total Max is probably the most affordable way for someone to get fully outfitted with commercial plugins. ![]() All the classic compressors, SSL style channel strips, EQs, etc. The other tools all work well as you'd expect, and they have nearly everything. I was about to buy the Fab Filter limiter, but when I compared with Stealth I realized I could just use what I have already. Not a big deal, except in the case of the tape plugins which have significant latency compared to most. Arguably better than Waves in terms of sound, possibly, but they often use more processing power and have more PDC latency as a result. I got it just for Sampletank because I needed it, and ended up with a full suite of tools. The Total Max 3.5 or 4 bundle is a really good deal. The pricing of IK is such that you can buy one thing for $100 or own damn near everything they make for $200-$300 depending on the sale.
